My beef is that we have become a nation of spectators. I don't want to watch someone play. I want to play. If we participated in the sports and games, we might not be quite as obese. The proverbial couch potatoe. Especially in our age of computers, robots, and technology in general. We are not as active as we once were. The body was designed to be active, not lie or sit around holding a pen, or oggling the box.
Jubilee Colony is to cater for children, adults and seniors. Visiting retirement villages, there are a few new active games or sports. Paddle tennis, I think it was called, within a fenced off court. Marked out similar to tennis, a little smaller, and the with the type of ball and bat, a great deal slower than tennis. Aimed at entertaining activity for the seniors, of course.
