Private & Communal Living
Introduction
Jubilee Colony attracts those who will appreciate community, an existing, a working and a living together, both in a private setting and in a communal settings. We all have our own requirements for privacy, some more than others. Yet, nearly every single person, enjoys being in contact with others. Many see the benefits of communal enterprises. There are some things, individuals can never hope to own, or accomplish alone. Pooling our resources in many areas, we can accomplish a great deal more.
Visiting retirement villages, for example, the entire community pays dues, and the dues cover, not just the garbage removal, but also funds the communal projects, including, sports clubs, golf courses, exercise gymnasiums, community center functions, including street dancing, and other functions. In normal cities, members can pay between $100 to $300 a month, just for golf club membership fees, then another $20-30 per month for exercise gym club fees. Whereas within the Villages dues were only $153 per month, including the garbage disposal, the up keep of the street gardens, amongst other things.
