Introduction

The Woodlands is considered to be a master planned community, incorporating a suburban development that became a sort after home town. It was born from a vision by an oil-man, George Mitchell, as a real estate development. Today it consists of more than 75 000 people. It is a thriving business and residential area, sustaining itself, with detailed protection mechanisms established to protect their natural environment. It was a top-end of the scale development. What can be the result of all things going well. Not that there were not difficulties. The project faced bankruptcy, and had to come through enormous threats against its survival.
