The Retirement Villages

Introduction

Like the Woodlands project, the Retirement villages were begun as real estate developments. However, unlike Woodlands, the retirement villages have no real self-sustaining infrastructure, and they are not all inclusive. Mostly, restricting members to include those 55 years old and older. The Baby Boomers.

The retirement villages are very recreation orientated, with nearly all having their own golf courses. It's all about leisure and pleasure.
